Treadwright GB?

Everytime I lean towards the wardens I see the tread pattern of the guard dogs and

I think I'll just get 285 guard dogs and if they are too much for me I will just trade someone.

 

They wont be to much just get them already

 

I just put my 285 guard dogs on my 1st gen and LOVE THEM. not too much noise with TONS of traction! they're awesome in snow and slush!

 

I love my 285 Wardens so far, they're a little louder than the other A/T's I've ran but I went with these cause I do more street driving then offroading.

 

Thats what I keep doing

 

Any word on this?

 

Got my tires yesterday, they look GREAT!.. only 7 days from when I ordered too. getting them mounted up on Wednesday, pics to follow

Anyone recently purchased Wardens and been in the snow and off road with them? What's your take?

 

265/75/16 Wardens on BFG AT casings.. got the Kedge Grip too but doesn't look too impressive to me.. we'll see

I was talking with Brian Swearingen aka Woody from IH8MUD and he has been using them with the kedge grip for a while and swears by it.

 

Woody's a good guy, I've know him thru TLCA for a loooong time.

 

I figured he has wheeled many more miles than I have that is good to see him running them. I researched a lot before I bought and saw a lot of naysayers but they hadn't ever owned any of them. Out of people that have owned them I only found one person tht had an issue and TW took care of it ASAP with a new tire courtesy of them. After running them for +3 years they have been great without an issue.

I was debating on jumping up to the new General Grabber ATs when they need to be replaced but I have been looking at the Guard Dogs too. I do still have a lot of miles left on my Wardens though (@ 40k on them now). I should get another useable year out of them at least.

 

I've now read the whole thread, and I don't see that any group buy actually came together...?

good to hear thanks.. I'm slappin them on tomorrow, and just now gettin a lil bit of sloppy snow so guess I'l find out soon!

 

AMAZING in the snow!! did most of the trail in 2wd. One tire took ALOT of weight to balance so I'm gonna see if they will replace it.. other than that I'm very happy

 

Anyone get Wardens on 267/70-17 casings, which casing did you get?

For the time being, on some sizes, we will continue to work to fill requests for specific brands of casing. (For example, you may by able to request a BF Goodrich casing, however, you will no... longer be able request a specific model such as AT KO, or KM2, or Rugged Trial. We will send the first four matching BF Goodrich casings, of the same model, that are in stock.)

Also, please note that if you order less than 4 tires at a time, we cannot guarantee matching model casings with your future orders.
