Well got that fixed. Just added a simple rubber o-ring between the metal ring and the rubber washer and it locks up tight! I am done, for now ;) I will have to tear it all down again to get the alignment completely level since I just eyeballed it the first time and am off by a couple degree's. As long as I'm not wall hunting with the lights it's not noticeable at all, so I am gonna roll with it for a bit while I tackle my suspension mods :D

I feel like my projectors are really loose, even though they are tightened down all the way, and causing my cutoff to jump up and down when driving. I can wiggle the projector from the ballast plug in the back. Anybody else have this problem?

That's just how they are, the reflector bowl itself is shaking up and down from the weight of the projector.

What projectors did you get? My H1's don't shake at all.

My d2s really don't move either. They sit pretty solidly in the bowl. I can move them a mm or so if I try, but during normal driving I don't see them moving around at all.

You can contact TRS for additional silicon washers that sit on the reflector bowl of the headlight. Maybe that will solve your problem?

I'm planning on doing the black headlights mod before I install the h1's. Does the old projector bowl have any effect on light output? I saw where one guy painted the whole interior black including the bowl and wondered if it effects light output.

You can paint the reflector bowl. All the light output is contained within the projector so the old reflector bowl is used as a mounting surface only.

Got mine installed. Went with chrome housings instead of painting. Used to have sport lights (black chrome surround) but bought new chrome ones instead because I didn't care for the black chrome look. Might go back to the black chrome but I will still use the aftermarket lens as my stock ones were really scratched and fogged up (probably why I didn't like the darker surround, the bad lens was even more noticeable). The aftermarket lights I bought also have a clear turn signal vs the stock yellow lens.
