I just wanted to say thanks for the great service. I placed my order Monday and got my lights yesterday...excellent.

    Guys,

I hope you don't mind me posting this here as I'm in the middle of my install and I'm about to wire up the retrofit and have no idea what this is. Anyone?

I've done quite a few HID kit installs and I usually just plug the hid bulb to the ballast and the ballast to the connector coming from the car. Anyone?

That adapter harness is what allows the single lamp to work properly with the low beam and high beam. It also gets the power draw off of the factory harness and moves it to the battery.

Make sure your grounds are solid. I've had problems with a few HID systems and the problem has always been with a ground wire. Passenger side radiator support where the bracket supports the AC line on my Tacoma did NOT provide an adequate ground.

The connectors are marked where they go. The large square one with 3 blades on it plugs into your driver's side headlight connector.
The fuse goes to the battery.
The other 4 connectors are marked "Ballast" and "Projector"
The one marked "Projector" is the trigger for your high beam solenoid.

Thanks Rick! Last question. Do I only plug up the 3 prong to one of the headlight connectors and thus leaving the passenger side connector not plugged into anything? Thanks!

    Correct.
Only one side is needed to operate the relay set.

Thanks again Rich. I got back from dinner and wired it up and it all works. I ended up using the ground behind the washer fluid reservoir. Now time to take it back out and reseal :(

Good stuff guys. Thanks for the business!

If only I could find a way to use the GB as part of my FJ build money. ;)

More like some of your FJ build money is supporting the GB!

How long is this deal good for? I get my truck at the end of the month or beginning early next month. Also is there a DIY for 2012-13 headlights? Leaving the VW scene with OEM R32 HID lights and want HID's!
