awesome about to put in my order now.

I have a quick question for the HID experts:

How or is it safe to run HIDs with head light, fog light, and Hella lights?

Nothing wrong with it except it scatters so much light, get these for your headlights and keep the fogs just not some ridiculous 8k bulbs and youll be happy

i have a set of morimoto 3five ballasts for the retro lights, my drivers side like just went out. I've only been running them for like 2 months. Are these still covered by warranty? I really just need to replace one of them.

Got mine finished up, but had a bad moto control box and hi beams don't work but lows are so much better than the pnp kit I had from ddm!

Yes, I have H1 5000K for my Hella 700FF and will be retrofitting my head light and fog lights. All with 5000k.

I am more concern with wiring all three to run HIDs and if it is safe to the electrical system.

Do most people mount the LED halo on the outside of the shroud?

Just ordered the kit!! Is there a thread on installing them or does the kit come with good instructions?

Also, OP any idea when it should ship?

There's a couple of installation threads. The instructions with the kit are pretty generic and really don't cover much of anything.

The harness is clearly labeled, the only point of confusion is there is a pigtail flagged "Projector"... that plugs into the high/low solenoid... NOT the ballast (the connector is the same).

On the harness, the battery hot lead is about 2ft shorter than would make for a nice installation. Also, there are a couple of ring lug ground connectors at the ballast ends of the harness. Do yourself a favor and cut the ring lugs off, and solder a piece of 12ga wire to each one, long enough to get all the way back to the battery, and install another ring lug and ground them to the body ground next to the battery.

90% of problems with HID installations are traced to a bad ground. It's happened to me on 3 different installations.
