Sux. I just got home and the skids were definitely 50 lbs each. FedEx tracking was on something. Gonna prime and paint this weekend :D

I got my skid two days ago....just got to unpack it. Can you verify the hardware that you sent with? I got a baggie with some stuff in it but it was ripped open and unsure what's there and what's not. Also, you mentioned fedex possible repackaging, mine was just wrapped in plastic wrap....is that how you had packaged it? I have no issues with it...just informing you if it was different.

Mine came with a ziploc bag with hardware in it. Seems to be the right amount and variation of washers nuts and bolts

Fedex really did a number on my stuff. I talked to them and they said the packaging was to spec. They just don't know how to handle 100 lb packages I guess. It kind of makes me mad. They all should have been stretch wrapped tight together.

The hardware should have 5 allen head caps screws (3 16mm long for the very front, 2 25mm long for the middle), 5 3/8" washers for the front skid, 2 1/2" x 3" long bolts for the rear of the trans skid, 4 1/2" washers, 2 1/2" lock washers, and 2 1/2" nuts.

That's weird with the 100lb shipping weight. People have plate bumpers shipped all the time.

To anyone interested I am willing to sell my set. They are over kill for what I use the truck for. I have $423 into them including shipping and they have a fresh coat of primer and black paint. Willing to trade for an aftermarket rear bumper (with receiver), ammo (.223, 9, 45), or guns.
I'm in East San Diego. If they don't sell in a week or so I will install them.

How much .223, 9 and .45 you looking for? I've bought Ammo online but I've never shipped it...?

I'd like to avoid shipping these if possible. It would raise your cost $80-100. Are you willing to pay that? Shipping cost $73 from IA to CA.

$423-$73 is $350.....which is what you bought the skids for....just saying.

Also, It seems I am missing a couple washers only....thanks. I can't wait to get these things on. I think they are going to make my truck ride so much better. I have the 600lb eibach coils and they ride pretty rough with no additional weight on them.

Glad you're good at math :)

If I do sell I'm not willing to take the $73 hit, hence the price. If they don't sell I'll run them.

I've had my skids for a month longer than y'all and they're still not painted.

Some pics of the skids being test fitted. Fit is great with the TG front bumper.

Here's how far back the trans skid goes, very happy with the coverage.

Next to stock skids for comparison (trans skid isn't in the picture)

I'm very happy with the skids, they are very beefy and provide great protection. Great job Ryan! :D

That floor jack is an excellent idea for mounting!

The floor jack and jack stands were very helpful installing the skids!

My skids are currently drying. Painted them with rustoleum bedliner and they should be installed tomorrow night or Wednesday night.
