Correct. Its a vehicle distance calibration, not a tire size calibration. You can find the instructions on their website. I'll try to post them here later if I get a chance.

Thanks everyone for the positive rep! And for the one person who left neutral rep but a good comment....

Glad everyone is enjoying this so far.

One tip I might share, I have mine mounted up high where there is constant shade but on hot days I turn it on and I get I high temperature alarm, so I could imagine that mounting it in directly sunlight isn't very safe. These are great little tools, but seem to be fragile and sensitive, so keep that in mind when mounting. I've seen more than one person get damaged screens for heat damage. This will be my first summer with it so I'll be keeping my fingers crossed.

Mine came in and mounted it right next to the steering column.

I can see it perfectly and it's not in the way of anything.

Received mine today and got it mounted!:D

I had planned to use the windshield mount that came with it, but considering the sunshine exposure and how noticeable it would be in that configuration, I started looking for other options.

I cannot mount it above the rearview mirror, since I have the ImMrYo rearview mirror lift bracket mod and my rearview mirror is right up against the headliner.

Consequently, I decided to mount it with Velcro. Since I only have blanks at the switch positions on the dash, that seemed to be the logical and most functional place to mount it where it's out of the sun and not so noticeable, yet easily readable.

I used three strips of Velcro, one on each of the switch blanks and three corresponding strips on the UltraGauge.

In addition, I placed (rubber cemented) 1/8" rubber bumpers (pads) on each of the outer switch blanks that line-up perfectly with the Up, Down and Menu keys on the back of the UG. This allows me to operate these control keys by merely pressing on the front corners of the unit to activate the keys. (Beats having to peel the unit off the Velcro to get to the control keys.)

I routed the cable toward the back of the dash into the door weather molding, securing it with cable mounting bases, and then connected it to the OBD-II plug and tie-wrapped the loose slack up out of the way.

It looks good there (almost OEM). Now, I've just got to place some transparent orange film over the face of the UG so that the display color matches the rest of the OEM gauges.:)

    Here you go...

Since I was peeling the UG off the Velcro to take photos of the bumpers, I decided to add some small, soft bumpers to the UG buttons themselves so that they could be activated with less pressure to the front of the unit (see pics).

The bumpers were purchased at Lowe's in a variety pack for $3.97.

Would really like to see these rubber bumps you installed. Sounds like a very innovative and functional idea

Sweet! Thanks. Looks good. Too bad i have all my switches full right there.

Lol. No. You can give members rep for whatever you want. So, many people are leaving me rep for setting this up. Its not something you have to do or anything. Don't worry your all good.

Got mines installed yesterday. I mounted it to my windshield on my strip of tint in the upper corner so that it is not noticable from the outside. I got the vertical mount and so far its holding well on the windshield with the 3M tape. I found this location works best for me as I am able to reach the button in the back with no problem. Over my rear view mirror felt like a pain reaching over to access the buttons. Now I gotta calibtate it...thanks OP.

Dang i like this alot. Its where i wanted mine but i got the suction cup which was too big to use in that corner. Looks like ill be ordering a surface mount and re mounting mine :D

Apparently noobs that give rep show up as neutral even though they gave positive feedback. So that explains it.

Interesting. I will assume then, that on must receive some positive rep in order to acquire the power of leaving rep.
