...thats how i had thought of doing it!!! you can get those and/or the solid "L" plates/brackes in HD or Lowes… and zink plated or galvanized is def the way to go!!

 

Yeah im going to have to use some small peices of it to get the bar mounted to the avid light bar. But i will end up doing a 30 down there on the crash cans aswell eventually. Its a cool look imo

What is the best way to get the wiring harness through the firewall?

 

I must say I'm beyond impressed with the level of customer service that has come along with these. Even dealing with a terrible situation we are getting better customer service that some companies can provide at the best of times. My biggest complaint was watching FedEx drive past 3 times before they stopped at my place.
I will go out of my way to recommend Chris to my friends for any light purchases and publicly shame anyone who goes elsewhere.

Hats off to you Chris for keeping the american tradition of customer service alive even when its not convenient. I wouldn't have thought less of you for not answering emails or slow shipping but you went above and beyond.

I go thru the fire wall where all the other wires go thru. On he driver side behind the dash
In the engine bay you will see them going thru.

Yeah correct. I usually have some one help me so it goes smoothly but yeah thats all i do. I just dont want to drill any new holes or wire around another way. It seems like the easiest and shortest way in.

 

So since the switch is already wired into the harness, how do you plan on getting the switch through the rubber boot in the firewall?

 

Oh you just watch me sir! Im a master at getting things into holes where they have no business being or going thru. And actually since i missed the fedex guy today i dont actually know what im working with yet so i will let you know tomorrow. But thats just where i plan on going thru and where i went thru for my cb. But im a problem solver. And if it comes down to it i will just take it apart and put it thru then put it back together.

 

Awesome! Light bar comes tomorrow. That means install BAMF light bar and 20" light bar from OKLED with OTRATTW switches and new Satoshi I made! Busy weekend ahead!
