Hey bud, not that I wouldn't want a freebe but you have already refunded me for my lock. If you have them in hand I wouldn't mind sending you the payment again for the lock. You may also want to check to make sure you didn't already refund anyone else.

Pop n lock

It's simple to install, and yes, you move the camera from the right side to the left.

The installation is easy. The P & L instructions kind of suck. You resuse the red and black plastic clips holding the rods on to the handle. The only sort of difficult thing to figure out is how to remove the camera from the old handle. Just remove the two little screws and unplug the camera from the harness. You will also need to reroute the the cam cable to make it reach the other side. Once you get the camera loose everything will be easier to visualize.

Agreed. Even for the mechanically disabled, this is an easy install. You really can't mess it up.

Follow the step by step guide provided by Tacoma-09:

Bum deal...its like they give us hope and pull the rug from under us. Kind of reminds me of Charlie Brown trying to punt the ball with Lucy holding it...then she pulls it away right when he kicks.

Maureen is out of town for a few more days I think... Mike Verble is taking over for her and he is a little out of his element I think...

Alright, why me.... I installed my pop and lock about a month ago. I test locked and opened a few times. Yesterday, I took my snowblower in for repairs. Unlocked the tail gate, put in the snowblower. Got to the repair shop. Can't open tail gate. I tried locking and unlocking and pulling and pushing it back in and everything else I can think of. Any ideas how to open the tail gate???? I am not sure if one of the rods came out or what!!!!!

Wow...that sucks! Sorry dude

It sounds like one of your rods came out. Can you access your bed and remove the panel without opening the gate? Can you get to all of the star bolts that you removed?

If necessary, remove the ones you can get to and bend that cover back. You might be able to reconnect a rod from there.

Out of his element has to be ten times better than Maureen.

They were delivered over the weekend and are in my neighbors apartment since no one was home. I doubt I will be able get them out this week but I am going home next weekend with no school to worry about
