How much is a pair of 35w/55w hi/lo ballasts? There's nothing wrong with my kit; my retrofits are hi/lo and I only have low beam ballasts on them right now, so the highs don't work. Need a pair of hi/lo ballasts for them to work.

    Thanks in advance.

I would recommend the 6000K to best match your LED's. The 55w will bring more attention and maybe cause you to get flashed by oncoming traffic. I always recommend the 35W which is still very bright and a huge improvement from stock. Bulbs should last approx. 3,000+ hours. Some buy extra to have on hand just in case.

Sorry but I am a little confused. You should have one pair of ballasts that work both the high and low with a wiring harness changing from high to low. It sounds like your retrofits are low beam only possibly? Or do you have a separate bulb for the high beams? Can you show me what retro kit you have so I can see what setup you have?

I made it more confusing than it is. I know what I need and I have the harness that's needed for my kit already. I'm just looking for the price of 2 hi/lo ballasts.

-My ballasts that are powering my retros are low beam only. (Highs don't work)
-Need 2 hi/lo ballasts to make them functional.
    Thanks man.

Can you PM me your number is I can call you. The ballasts only come in one function and that is power on or off. No high low function from the ballasts. That's achieved from the bulbs and harness. What bulb size is your retro kit? H1?

Okay well thanks guys, i'm an idiot. I thought there were separate ballasts for HI/LO and another type for low beam. Suppose I might only have low beam.

The size of the bulb. The newer models changed from H10 to H11 bulb size.

Quality my friend. Anyone can buy a cheap eBay kit and get just that but I would rather pay for quality and peace of mind instead of wondering if the random person in China will reply to my concerns about their kit when it fails. I have a number of buyers who first bought cheap then came to buy my kits for that very reason and have not looked back. Customer service as well goes a long way.
