If they are it would be upsetting because they are half the price.

Yea... and I didn't mean to piss in the lemonade... well maybe I did. Either way, that ticks me off if he's just reselling these for $$$. I thought group buys weren't about making money, just getting a good deal for everyone.

Sorry for stirring the shit, I'll just be happy with what I have. Too late now anyways. I am happy with what I have, it's just these don't look top quality... no offense, they seem to work fantastically.

Not gonna spend $600 unless i'm retrofitting. 'nuff said. Not a huge deal, and it's my fault for not shopping around before jumping on this group buy. Just sounded like a good deal and I pulled the trigger, ah well.

i really dont think they are the same...i had the black ballast DDM kit before i got these from slim and it was way different!! it was a lowbeam kit that would only work on my highbeam swith!! like 5 ppl here has had major problems with DDM...so i will see how these from slim do i guess... they seem like a better made kit except for having to use spade connectors instead of a matching plug for the oem plug...

It only worked with your hi beam because you had one of the connector plugged into the hi beam socket and the low beam socket. I have done this before installing HIDs you just have to switch the cable from one socket to the other.

In other words there are 3 openings in the OEM H4 plug. One is a ground and the other is power. You had the power one in the wrong opening.

well now that is weird. Both mine were the same so I don't think I got a defective bulb. They definately were not as tight as the OEM bulbs thought. The plastic that holds the bulb in place seemed to look a smidge thinner as well. This would make sense since they are looser.
I have heard of people on here who claim they had to trim some of the plastic prongs to get them to fit in the housing. I did not have to do this, they went in rather easily. I just hope they are water tight so I don't get moisture in there. Well I live in Vegas so I only have to worry about rain 3 or 4 times a year. I will try to spray it well at my next car wash to make sure there is no moisture.

They work very well though, man do they produce a ton of light.

Let me clear this up for you guys... These kits I sell are not the same as the link posted. Remember many people make similar kits but might not be as high of quality.

and the kits are not bad at all. the ballasts I used on my retrofit setup on my maxima were not nearly as small! i'm happy with the quality so far. i still have yet to do the fogs, i'm pretty concerned about water getting into them... not sure what i'm going to do to really make sure they don't get wet!
