I'm not sure if this is the picture you are looking for but what the heck. It's 6K headlights and 3K fogs.

Hey I heard that you need to get projector headlights if you want the full HID effect. I know with my stock backing on the headlights, the HID's don't work to great. Anyone got any input on this?

I did a retrofit on my 2005 TRD Off Road. Jason from Luminous Solutions helped me get my headlight setup exactly how I want it.:)

Yeah that's what i was wondering. I was looking at the ones on ebay but I hate all those extra LED's around the light and in other spots. To bling bling for me you know. I just wanted something simple with a black housing that would compliment my HID's.

    uh, it's got a sticker . . .
How much hotter (or cooler) would a 35W Bixenon HID bulb be compared to a "stock" 55W H4 halogen.

Same question for a 55W HID.

Does the arc make the base hotter? . . . or the fact that a 35W bulb is only consuming 35W means it's going to be cooler no matter what.

    tnx,
    - c bob

Hmm I personally have not tested the temperature differences between all of them but I would assume the 35w HID's will run cooler than the 50w HID's and the 55w Halogens.

Can you confirm this? I was told by someone else that low would be HID and high would not. Just getting all of the details down before I commit to a specific combo.

    oil change...
telescopic means your new HIDs will have both the high and low beam.
if you get the "low" you will no longer have high beams BC the HID bulb will replace the stock halogen bulb

A local vendor told me that their set (probably diff brand) high beam would still be halogen. I’d just like to confirm with the seller that the high on this his set is also HID.

    Slim can you confirm??

They will all be ordered on the 6th and shipped the day that I get them. The turn times are very quick and everyone on previous GB's can confirm this. :)

The person that told you that probably was thinking of the kits that come with xenon lows and halogen highs. (Crappy kits) I am selling the kits that only use a xenon bulb. So yes they will be Xenon when you flick your brights no halogen. :D If you have any other questions feel free to ask away!
