i am interested but have a question or two. I want them for my wifes carolla but do i have to buy a whole other kit for the fog lights or how does that work. Also, if i get the normal ballast will i only have the h.i.d's in low beam? if so is it understood that i have to buy the telescopic bixenon to get hi/low? thanks

the higher the kelvin units does not mean brighter. 6000k is about as white and bright as you get, any higher than that and you change the light spectrum color. Which in turn does not create a brighter hue.

What is the telescoping option??

Which is the better option; H4, H13, H50, H75..... what the heck does this all mean?? Which one does the Tacoma have?? I'm just confused with this option.

I know I want 6000K, slim design ballast but I don't know about the telescoping option and H4, H13 etc....

H4,H 13, H50, H75 are the size of Bulbs that are available. You want H4 for your Tacoma headlights and H10 for your Fogs (if you want some)

I'm not 100% on this one but i think Telescoping is so you can use your bright lights. I strongly suggest checking out the previous thread, a lot of questions have been asked and answered in it before and it might be a good idea to check it out before placing your order (i know i did! )

I asked slim this question a couple weeks ago and the answer i was given was that you would need to buy 2 separate HID kits, one for headlights and one for fogs.

Kicker of elves thank you for helping me with all the questions. It is going to be hard for me to answer them today since I am leaving right now for engagement pictures about an hour away. I will be back on tonight to answer any unanswered questions you guys may have.

Also, check out the previous GB you can see a lot of questions answered already as a reference. (that sentence was gramatically murdered lol. I am in a rush.)

For 05+ h4 is the headlights. h10 is the fogs. Telescoping is to have high beams with you headlights as they are not included with the normal set. Slim ballast is a smaller thinner ballast than normal.

Dgerm, I got the whole 6000k setup fogs and heads. I love it. For My heads I also got the 50w option, slim ballast, and telescoping. This kit is bright as hell and has the perfect amount of blue IMO.

You all will love the lights. Thanks slim for such a great previous group buy
