UPDATE 12/14/14: If anyone else wants in on this lets make it happen by the end of the year. Pricing is subject to go up every year so we will honor the pricing through 12/31 if we can put another group together. I have had several people PM me over the last couple weeks so lets put this group together. PM me if you are ready to order or have any questions. We can bundle the bumper with any winch, not just the 2 listed so if there is another winch you are interested in PM me for pricing.

Not sure, is there a time frame you are waiting for? Once we hit 10 I will send out invoices to those 10 for the group buy so they can get there parts ASAP. If it seems like there is more interest after the first 10 we can continue on until we hit another 10 and hope pricing doesnt change between now and then. I know its still early to be getting tax returns so we will be offering the deal as long as pricing and demand allows....

hey there have a couple questions. Those winches above mount up to all 3 bumpers without modification? Does the #1 2012-2014 ARB deluxe bumper w/fog cutouts ARB3423140 have a spot to use a hi lift on?

 

Add me to the list, bumper was just involved in a hit and run, that pussy never stopped. I pm'd you yesterday, still undecided if I want winch or not, but want that capabilty eventually, and also fogs.

 

Yes, the M8000 and VR8000 will both mount up to the bumpers without modification. They both have separate control boxes that can be mounted anywhere you would like to allow easy access. A lot of our customers like them mounted under the hood where they are protected from the elements. You may have to "clock" the drum in order to gain easy access to the lever. IF you decided to run synthetic line in the future with a hawse fairlead there is a bit of modification to make the hawse fairlead fit.

Yes the bumper has a 2 jacking points for a hi-lift.

Do you feel an 8k winch is enough towing capacity for a Tacoma? Lots of guys say go 10k.

The short answer.... Usually. It comes down to your uses, I can offer you a 9-10k winch for this truck but it will cost $200+ more and if its not necessary thats an additional $200 you could put towards other recovery equipment. I try not to do a whole lot heavy recoveries without a snatch block anyways which will double the capacity of an 8000lb winch if done correctly. If you are regularly pulling out heavy rigs from bottomless mud holes you may want a larger winch and I will be happy to offer a package price on a larger winch if you are interested. For most applications the M8000 is my go to winch for light trucks and jeeps for folks who are on a budget but want the best. Hope that rambling helped...
