I tried like hell but I can't get my camera to take a picture of the light. The pictures just don't show any difference and look terrible. Anyways, I ordered a few of these:
    hitlights-led-filament-light-bulb-a19-omnidirectional
They are a 4W filament style bulb. I bought them because I felt they would mimic an incandescent bulb the best. They actually most closely resemble an Eddison style bulb. They are bright enough for a side table lamp or a wall mounted sconce but aren't really bright enough if they're going to be the primary source of light in an otherwise dark room. To be fair though, they are advertised as a 40W equivalent bulb so even a 40W incandescent bulb wouldn't be overly bright and I feel these are an excellent replacement for that size bulb.

Next, I bought a few of these:
    http://www.hitlights.com/led-a19-8w-ul
They obviously don't look like an incandescent but in a fixture with an opaque globe or under a lamp shade, these can absolutely be a direct replacement for an incandescent. I bought the warm white color and they give you that warm, yellowish glow that I grew up with (the glow you get from incandescent, not the sterile white you get from many CFLs) I plan to order more of these and replace more of the bulbs in my house with these. These are an 8W LED and are listed as equivalent to a 60W incandescent. I would say this is very accurate. They also don't just throw light in one direction like they look like they would given the solid plastic base.

Lastly, I purchased some of these for a chandelier:
    http://www.hitlights.com/hitlights-...delabra-bulb-replacement-for-25w-incandescent
Those are on the way and I think I'll be able to get a better picture with these.

Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase and would buy them again.

No problem, will do when I get home tonight.

I actually got the chandelier lights on Saturday and got them installed. Overall, again very pleased. They are brighter than the incandescent lights they replaced but not blinding by any means. My chandelier holds 6 of them. They aren't quite as yellow as the other LED's I purchased but no where near as white as a CFL. They are what I'd consider natural sunlight color and very easy on the eyes.

Yeah, go on their website and read mine :D

If someone can tell me how to take pictures of light, I'd be happy to post pics. I've been trying to mess with settings on my camera but all I'm getting is a lot of glare.

It's a royal pain to take pictures of these lights. Not sure what kind of camera you have but on ours, to decrease the glare we lower our ISO sensitivity which, while making a darker photo shows the light off better.

I have a Canon Rebel T3. I think it's advanced enough to do it, unfortunately the operator is not

I feel your pain. We have a Nikon here at the office and I figured out how to turn the flash off for the first time the other day

Did some work on a better install of my whip lights. Mounted a cig port in the bed box and the controller is also mounted in there. y4uge3e9_597ab75b5a5455c6bf2076d21522341d96e71983.jpg

Sweet, thanks! The first batch I bought sold me. Time to get rid of the rest of those stupid curly Q bulbs.
