Yeah I had gotten a fedex tracking number

I got the 50" curved and it is going over the windshield. I haven't gotten the switch yet but I was thinking going with some of the Otrattw.com Contura V style switches, swapping out an old switch to make them all look the same

When do you plan on installing. I could use a look at the wiring.

Ufff probably not for a good while for the new light bar. I have a rear suspension to get done first but you are more than welcome to come take a look of what I have done now, only have 2 light bars and a CB wired up at the moment.

I was actually just looking around at better ways of wiring it all up, maybe sPODS, I don't know yet.

What did you get? I just wired up a 20" mounted in the lower grille. wiring harness was super easy. OTRATTW has SPST switches that fit well with minimal shaving in pre-existing slots lef tof the steering wheel

I need help on where i should put my switch. I have a 2013 TRD Off-Road so all of my preexisting. locations are taken up.
I was thinking about putting my switch next to my A-TRAC control button which is locaed underneath the air conditioning nobs.

Let me know what you guys think. I am just worried that the wiring harness wont reach that far.

You've got so many options. Look around for Tacoma switch locations on Google image search to get ideas where to mount then. If you only plan to be adding only thus one switch you've got the switch blanks under the stereo like you said, or you can go to the center console. I've seen that a lot too. If you really don't mind going some work I've seen someone that makes some temperature gauge switch things that add some up there. I've also seen people add a row of switches under the others left off the steering wheel or in the coin tray.

installed mine yesterday. This thing is bright wow!

Chris, do you know what the dimensions are on the smaller bolt that goes into the bottom of the mount. I'd like to try to find a security bolt in that size as well.

Not sure if you were able to complete this project yet but I finally got my sh*t together and just completed mine. I got really hung up on the wiring for switch illumination. problem being I had to try several different wiring diagrams for my switches since mine didn't come with schematics. I ended up doing:
    White to #2
    Blue to #3
    Black to #8
and #7 can be jumped from #8
12v from dash light illumination to #6

I found the 12v from the empty fuse slot (on the top, 3rd from left just right of a 10amp). This fuse block is located behind the change drawer. As a matter of fact, here is a killer write up... http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/li...gen-7-hid-lights-attn-proforce-rich91710.html
THis should really answer any and every question you can have!

BTW, that 12v is only on the lower side of the empty fuse slot. Check it with your multi meter, you'll understand. Hope this helps!

Yeah man I did, thanks for the reply. Found out the problem was my add a fuse. I was not getting power in one direction. I rotated it 180 and plugged it in and got power.
