Okay I am now ready to open up my first TW group buy! I will likely keep it open for a couple weeks before I close it and place the orders. *Background info*
I have started up a small business focusing on lighting products, and for now that is LED light bars. The bars that I have access to are similar in looks to what is out there now, but with a few extra perks in terms of reliability. I have just gotten some new contacts overseas and have taken a couple orders from them now and things have gone well thus far. I figure there might be some interest here in that. TW is unfortunately flooded with people looking to sell stuff, which is a hill to climb. However, I believe in this community and hope to be able to support you well after the sale.

For the sizes, I am going to list them as their ACTUAL LENGTH which includes the additional bulk added by the housing itself. It might make it a little more difficult for reporting purposes, but it will be helpful for those of you looking to fit it the bar a certain location. Lumen outputs are provided, but effective lumens will be somewhat dictated by the type of beam pattern you choose with spot being best able to utilize the light.

All prices listed are SHIPPED prices and will include a wiring harness unless you indicate that you don't want one. Lights will be available as spot (10 degree)/flood(40 degree)/combo patterns. There will be a rewards program for amount of bars ordered. For every 10 bars we get ordered, everyone will recieve 1% off of their order total (max of 5%). If you order 2+ bars I will take an additional 5% off of your total. Discounts will stack.

We will have to see how everything shakes down, but I would likely have to get an order for at least 3-4 of each size before I could justify ordering that size. We will cross that bridge when we get there, but I would really like to get everyone exactly what they want. I am running the same GB on another forum so they might help the bundle numbers for everyone.

Hoping to get size specs in the next couple days. I have already had a couple inquiries on that. I can get the double row bar next time I am home, but I will be waiting on the single specs.

 

EDIT: You know what... Shipping to Hawaii will not be additional price. It can't be THAT much more to ship.

 

I do already have some bad news though... A double row bar will be much too wide on the front face to fit within the hood scoop. And the single row 10w bars are actually no thinner on the front face if memory serves me right due to heat issues. People usually fit a single row 6"-10" Rigid bar or something similar with smaller LEDs... That being said if you definitely do want a bar there I can get you bottom dollar price on Rigid stuff

 

I didn't measure it, but I would venture to say that it was approx 200yds. I was walking and still had usable light out where I was standing after 300 paces...

Correct. I dont personally have any rock light kits that I intend on carrying yet. That being said... wait a little bit and I might put together something from a different manufacturer it wont be marketed as rock lighting, but easily adaptable and quite applicable.

I gotta get this one moving first. Im honestly surprised we havent had more interest yet.

 

ALRIGHT BITCHES I have got some news for you! I was going to hold out on this little bit of info, but since you all decided to drag your feet I figure I might as well let you know now. The double row bars in this GB will be utilizing 5w LEDs instead of the standard 3w! What that amounts to is 400lm/led instead of 250lm for a standard 3w setup. I am not going to say what the number is, but I have to hit a certain amount of LEDs to even place an order so the time to get in is now. I haven't decided what I am going to do after the GB, but for this group buy prices for the 5w will remain the same as those advertised for the 3w bars. I'm maintaining the prices so that I can get enough LEDs ordered. Compare the numbers to well... anyone else and you will see that these bars will throw down some serious light. New lumen values updated in the OP. Still carrying a 5 year manufacturer warranty and IP68 waterproof/dustproof rating (most others are IP67 at best).

You know you want in, just do it!

 

Cost of materials... the housing that the single row bars are in are a lower production run so they have a higher per unit cost. They are 10w single row bars too btw. The one thing is that they have a little larger reflector, so if two bars had the exact same lumens, the 10w bars will ave slightly better throw due to the better optics provided by the larger buckets. Some people like the look of the single row bars, and that honestly is the only reason to get one now that I have dropped the info about the 5w LEDs in the standard bars. The 10w bars used to be a better lm/$ value.
