You would need to tap the input of a relay harness into your low beams, ignition, something else, etc., but yes you can use it where you didn't previously have stock fog light wiring.

Thanks Andrew. I'm still on the fence between tapping the low beams or parking lights. Low beams shut down when you engage the high beams, which sucks cause my fogs would go dark when I really need more light. Parking lights might be better, since I use those in the dusk and light fog. I'll figure it out when I get them.

Side marker light would be a good source then. It won't take but a few mA to trip the relays and not nearly enough to blow the fuse on them.

Jason, I actually ordered a slightly different harness
    http://www.ebay.com/itm/121414289736

This one has a single ground point, instead of one at each connector. I figured this would be easier than trying to ground the wire at each fog light.

do you guys think I would need a relay for the fogs? I was informed by TRS that they could be wired directly into my lowbeams without having to have a relay harness

I am going to use a relay. The lowbeams will provide a small bit of power to energize the relay, which will flow power directly from the battery to the fog lights. If you try to run the fogs and the low beams off the same circuit, you may not have ample power or you can pop the fuse. Any high wattage accessory should have dedicated power.
