Some night photos to compare to stock. These were taken with my DSLR on a tripod on manual mode using the exact same settings on each photo. They are untouched and all I did was resize them. These lights are really bright! I noticed mine are pointed a little high as you can see with the hotspot.

Yeah right! They are really bright and they are built tough. My buddy who also has a pair just spent a week in death valley without an issue.

Here's another pic of them on my truck. What's great is that they look right at home on my bumper, they seem more balanced aesthetically than a light bar.

Whoa, those suckers put out some light! Last question, looks like in your second pic you have a clear snap on cover or something over the lens that's not in the first pic; are these part of the deal or are they separate?

I haven't committed on a bumper yet (either ARB/All-Pro APEX/homemade) but I think you can put me on the list as interested in a pair.

They come with two covers. I'll update the thread with everything that comes in the box. One is a clear cover and one is a diffused cover.

I should also note that I installed a pair using a wire harness from Rigid.

These look a lot like ARB's new LED's. They're super bright also, but cost around $1000 per light. And theirs are spot or flood. You're saying these are a combo light...or did I not read that correctly?

Not to sound dumb...but what's a "diffused cover"? I've heard the name before...just never knew what it did. In your night pics...do you have any covers on? If so, which one?

    Thanks...

    Russel,

I just noticed ARB's new lights and these do look very similar and that's super expensive at $2K a pair!

These are spot and they come with two covers. A clear and a diffused which gives flood effect on the lights.

It's hard to tell in this pic, but these are the two covers they come with. They are covered in plastic from shipping, but the one on the right has some ridges that diffuse the light.

In the night pics I'm just using the clear cover. I wanted these lights for their bright long throw. Everything that appears to be a wide beam in the photos is simply spill from how bright the lights are.

Thanks for the heads up! Is this what's keep most from getting into the GB? I just searched the ones on eBay, and they seem similar, but the housings are a bit different.

I'll see what I can do!

No worries! These lights are really impressive. I just ran them on a little rough over this weekend in the rain and they held up like champs.

Curious how these would look/fit on the hood mounts some vendors offer? The kind that sit right in front of your A pillar. Would they be to big and block out vision or fit perfectly

Honestly I think they would be way too big for that spot.

These aren't like the small pods or round LED's on the market. They are big. Here's a quick photo shop to see how they would look in that spot.

Ok, I finally heard back from the Chinese supplier. The news is bitter sweet. I can get a lower price on the lights (sweet!), which means I paid more for mine, bummer.

So here's the deal, I can get this group buy going with just 4 pairs at $356 a pair plus shipping, but I have to do it fast. The supplier is basically letting me run a small quantity at a larger quantity price to get the light exposed.

Let me know if there is any interest so I can get back to the supplier. I don't want them to think I'm just leading them on, so if there is no one interested I can just say that. Thanks!

I think I might just be in for this. Just gotta go measure see if they will fit in between the top of the all-pro apex bumper and the center hoop
