Total would be $365 via mail boat. Last time I shipped to HI it took almost 3 weeks.

All pro for whatever reason (just kidding, we know why $$$) makes their bumpers to fit their skids. That said, a guy on here, presto, has an all pro tube bumper and was able to make his RAT skids fit with a little persuasion. I've seen his in person and it seems to work just fine :) I'll text him, maybe he'll pop on and give his $0.02 and a photo or two.

I'll take a pic of my skid tmrw since it's dark and at my office. But basically all I had to do was cut the front (flat part) off and then on the angled part of the front of the skid I made a "precision" cut with a grinder half way through the metal so I could bend it flat. I then welded the half cut and drilled holes in the new flat part of the skid.

Nice! Thanks for the input guys. I like these skids way better. Anything can usually work with a little fabrication lol

How much different is the 1st gen taco gas tank skid from a 3rd gen 4 runner? Looks pretty similar.

So i'd definitely like to get the 3/16" 3 piece set in the black powder coat. Wondering how much shipping would be to 80477?
Also curious if i were to add the 3/16" gas tank skid with black powder coat how much shipping would increase to and how much it would be to powder coat the gas tank skid?
Now how do i get your info to send you a deposit? My taco needs some armor.

Shipping will be about $85. If you add the gas tank skid shipping will be an extra $30 and everything powder coated would be $200. $150 for powder coating on the full set.

As for deposits, I won't collect that until mid January.

Unfortunately I'm going to have to cancel this group buy. I'm moving out of state for a new job so I won't be able to fulfill the orders. I'm not sure if there will ever be another group buy in the future due to lack of time.

Ouch. That's hard news to hear on our end, but I know how that goes. Good luck on the job front. I was just setting money aside for them too :( sigh...

Thanks John! I'm heading back to the motherland, Minnesota. I'm done with school so I have no ties to Iowa, and all my family and plenty of good engineering jobs are in Minnesota. My main goal for the future is to buy an established business in Minnesota so I want to be in the area to network, learn the markets, etc.

Yeah, totally get it. Glad to hear you are thinking big picture, better than most folks can say. I started helping out with local high school students and that is something many have in common - no clue what the end goal is. That's why I'm back in school haha :)

Firstly congrats on the new job. However please say it isn't so about no longer making these skid plates. Just got my lift on and was factoring the armor and bumpers into the equation for spring weights. Is there any way to make it worth your time to score a set. They were the most quality set of skid plates/armor I've seen out there. Which is why I got to ask if they could possibly be had.

Anyhow happy holidays to you and yours

    Thank you. :)

If I make more skids it won't be for quite a while.
