    It is mainly used when there is no other places to hook up a winch to, allowing you to recover your vehicle. Here's a picture (sorry was in the Wife's Jeep)

    What type of ground does it need to anchor to? Does it have to be just right...not to soft not to hard? Or does it work well in most situations?
