RAT Products is offering a group buy on rear bumpers. They fit all 1st gens. I will be doing a group buy order that ends 4/30/15. I will take a $250 deposit on 4/30/15. The bumpers will then take approximately 4 weeks to produce before shipping.

These are offered in both Weld-It-Yourself kits, and fully welded and ready for paint. These take 3-4 hours to weld. I use locating marks to make layout easy.

This bumper came out great! Mid gloss black powder coat. There's just some dust on it in the pics.

What about illumination for the liscense plate? Any solution for that? Or does the bracket have a spot we could mount to?

 

That's up to you, but what I suggest are motorcycle license plate lights. They also act as bolts that hold the plate on. I bought mine off Amazon for $5.

May want to get in this for a full wrap with license plate flip up. Gotta see how my retrofit orders go this month but I'm definitely interests

I like the way this looks too! I may be missing it in the pics posted, but is there any type of reinforcement for the side/wrap around portion?

 

The bumper is held on with 4 bolts to the frame. Really easy to put on.

Yes, 4th image up from the bottom kind of shows it. It's a 2x1" tube to the frame bracket.

 

If anyone wants to trade a decent 12 gauge for a bumper, I would entertain that deal.

 

My front has a built in bottle opener and

unluckily the builder forgot to make a bottle
