Just wondering what your experience has been with any group buys you have participated in. Were they worthwhile for you? Do you think you got a good deal. After consideration of freight costs, ability to quickly get replacements for defective parts, and vendor responsiveness etc,. would you think twice next time? I'm not looking for actual group buy names but feel free if you want.

Im one of the rare ones that had a good experience in the revenge fab group buy. Wouldnt buy from him again due to what everyone else has gone through, but cheap and got the sliders relatively quick.

I have participated and hosted group buys

I have saved some cash participating.

hosting them is a different story, you get everyone jumping on it, then its kind of a pain when it comes times to actually complete the order. not a huge deal, but a PITA sometimes

If they go smoothly, group buys are a nice option
