    5000k are the tits! If you want BMW/ Caddy/ MB type-look output, go with 4300k - 5000k.

    Not all 1st gens. 95.5-97 had the sealed beam halogens, so these kits won't work in them.

    Any negatives to these (reason not to buy them)? Do they get to hot? Difficult install? etc.

    Negatives are if you don't re-aim your headlights after the install there's a chance you'll blind oncoming drivers. It is also illegal to install after market HID kits in cars that did not come with HIDs from the factory. But with that said, many have installed these kits with little or no hassle from law enforcement. The kits/bulbs will not get hot. Install is a cinch too.

    Exactly what humanoid said. I have had them on my last truck and my new truck with 0 problems and no flashes from oncoming traffic.

    Guess I got ten days to make a decision then :)

    Is 5000k the whitest color, rather stay away from it being too blue

    It's actually 4300K is whitest with a slight hint of yellow and 6000K is the whitest with a slight hint of blue. 5000K isn't offered. :)

    Also, for those that place your orders. Please make your paypal payments as soon as you receive your invoices. Some payments from echecks take 4-5 days to clear. I don't want anybody to miss out on the group buy for forgetting to make their payment in time. :)

    Thank you!

    I have 5000k from the same vendor (who is awesome) that Slim (who is also awesome) uses. I was able to harass them enough to get me 5000k.

    4300 is the peak of the spectrum. Over or under, you will lose intensity. Thats not to say at all that 6000k is bland and dull. Its just a different hue.

    BMW/ Mercedes/ Lexus/ etc all use 4300k as the stock headlight bulb spectrum. They use Philips DS2 Xenon bulbs. 4300k is by no means "yellow".

    and there's always this (previously posted on TW);

    Sorry to be a PITA

    So who makes these?

    What is the difference in the options (telescoping, etc)

    Thanks.
