Again you guys, I just want to let you know how awesome you are. I used to sponsor a Ford Truck Forums. I had a bad experience with that. We attempted to let them know what it was that we had, and what made it different from what was already out there.

You know what there response was? Its just another cheap Magnaflow knock off. Oh really? Can you really call it a knock off when it sounds different, its actually made from better materials, it uses better construction techniques, and Magnaflow didn't even invent the straight through type muffler.

Most of the knock offs out there are made in the low bidder Chinese factories where it is all about price. I'm not going to lie to you guys, our muffler is made in China too (Magnaflow does want you to know this, but they buy their muffler parts from China and assemble them stateside with machines so they can say "Made in USA").

However, the factories in China that we use are based upon the quality of the product they produce. In other words, China can make as good of quality as anyone else, you just use their greatest asset against them, and that is the size of their workforce. You basically let them know that if they don't make the product to meet or exceed your specifications, and that if they cut any corners, there are literally tens of thousands of people that can do it better.

I don't personally handle the trips to China to work out manufacturing arrangements, but they guy who does tells me that all the time he is approached by the reps from the company that makes many of the knock offs, and the price is just low low low. But that is their only bargaining chip.

We make sure the WickedFlow remains unchanged. Our goal is to produce as high a quality product as possible for a competitive price. Interestingly enough, our muffler actually costs more to make than a Magnaflow does. Largely because the materials are thicker, we use more packing, and even in China, TIG welds are not exactly cheap. The biggest difference between us and Magnaflow, is Magnaflow spends millions of dollars on celebrity endorsements and advertising, where as we let you keep that money and advertise for us.

I guess I'm rambling a bit. I'm glad you guys decided to give us a try, and see what they sounded like, how they performed. I may look into officially becoming a sponsor, but after my last experience with the Ford Trucks deal, I'm hesitant to do that. We spent over 10 times more for advertising among the Ford truck people than we ever got in sales return.

    Not enough.
^^At least you're straight forward about it but never the less it's a great product. I waited for a product like this for about 2yrs because I was looking for something different than what I seen on the tv with high profile people pushing them like porn.

I'm glad I waited but even if I had equipped something else I'm sure that I still would have bought this.

As for sponsorship, that's for you and site owner to discuss but I'm sure you guys will be welcome here with proof of happy customers.

ps. Mine just broke in and it sounds even better than when I first put it on:)

I would like to say we are classier than the ford owners. Lol. I believe that I you come on here and post once in a while and throw a group buy every now and then you will get some business. Especially since there are new ones joining everyday.

I 've read some stuff on Ford forums about the wicked flow. Yup some of them are rude in their comments. That is their opinion and that is their loss. I have to confess I have had my magnaflow5X8X18 250 OC) removed about a week ago and had the wicked flow installed ( 13SC250). I would say that it sounded better. Now you may say it is subjective and yes it is. So I am saying this based on my experience.

Wicked flow got the same deep throaty sound as my old magnaflow. No drone at cruising speed (55 to 65 mph at 1500 to 2000 rpm) Nicely growls when you step on it. The truck on acceleration is as responsive as it when I had the magnaflow. Basically there is very little difference in performance. ( A dyno will be good to determine any gains)

So where is the difference you might ask? One, is the price. $ 75 OTD is a steal in my opinion. Second, soundwise even my son said that it sounded better. On the magnaflow there is a part in the acceleration range where you get to hear something in the engine compartment, ( might be the rocker arms, timing chain or gears I don't know exactly). On the wicked flow I tried the same thing with the acceleration and I was looking for that sound to come up but all I hear is the constant deep throaty growl of a V6. I am sure some of the new wicked flow owners here will chime in.

Over all the product has lived up to its promise, I'll keep it. :D
