I big ol thing of Prestone DOT3, a quart size I believe. It's 3/4 empty. Why do you ask? i'm gonna try to re bleed them tomorrow afternoon and go from there. My lines were bad before stainless lines were installed so do I have a bad master cylinder?? Did I do something wrong in the bleeding process?? I read online somewhere about disconnecting hard lines that leave the master cylinder and bleed from there but that doesn't seem right, is it??

Just wondering, because if you only used a little then there would still be air in the lines. I'm thinking that there still might be some "bastard" air left in the system.

No that is not the correct way to bleed a master cylinder. The best thing to do is go to an autoparts store and purchase a master culinder bleeig kit. One way to check if its your master cylinder is to pump the brake pedal. If when you pump the pedal becomes firmer then it's your master cylinder. If it stays more or less the same then you have air in your lines somewhere.

Bled lines again. Blew out a little air. Not much but made all the difference in the world. Brakes are awesome!! Thanks OC. And all others for help.

did you do the master cylinder also? Or just the lines again? Got pics or instructions? I should be getting my lines soon. And I need to order same new pads. Still undecided which kind to get. Most likely, Hawks LTS or EBC Green 7000 or Yellows. Dont think I need new rotors, but might if i had to. Need to plan my assault. Never done this kind of this before...

I tow my boat that weighs about 1800lbs total. I can definately feel the lack of brakes now.

I would go with the stock pads if you're not upgrading the rodor. IMO ceramic does a better job of gripping the rotor. Also make sure you brake your pads in before you tow your boat.

The long ones go in the back, the short in the front. When you install them you'll see theres no way to get them mixed up.
