Sorry, a POC was in regards to the point of contacts through Weathertech. Did by chance anybody else give them a ring to figure if they were going to give us any better a deal? Looking at the amount of people who are interested Weathertech could easily make a quick $4000 dollars. Even if they charged shipping for 18 and gave us the same deal the last group buy recieved they wont be losing anything. . . Rather gaining.

 

Just goes to show us how stingy some people are. Anytime they sell something, regardless of a group buy, they will be making a profit. Nothing more annoying to me when companies act like they are doing us a favor when we are organizing orders and giving their company business. They should be willing to be more flexible in regards to shipping for us.

It really isn't even that good of a deal because right now they are having a special where you pay shipping for one item and then you get free shipping on whatever else you happen to order.

not sure. I told him we had about 50 people express interest and that we average around 60 some new members a day ad that the list will be a lot bigger when the group buy starts.

Maybe. They don't seem to care to work with us right now. Not sure why. We are organizing everything. All they would really have to do is set up a coupon code to give us our special discount and it'd be done. They make a lot of moeny still and we get our shit at a good price.

 

IMHO we should be a little more patient with these guys. They just did a group buy for us a couple months ago. From their perspective, YES they are getting business but I'm sure their sales rep has bigger fish to fry at the moment... not a group of 40 forum members.

Maybe when they're a little slower they can work it out but let them tell us that. Keep in touch with the guy but don't tell him how to run his business.
