    As of today, 7/6/2011 the word from Rocky Mountain is they will not be doing group buys. The owner said they tried back in March and there were so few actual buyers that they could not afford to sell at the stated price. Furthermore they will not be atempting any group buys in the future. So there ya have it.



    We could get another Hi Lift Jack group buy going from http://www.rockymountainsusp.com

    UPDATE:
    I called rocky mountain tonight and refered to the TW group buy that happened in March of 2011 and the employee who I spoke with suggested I call back tomorrow and speak with the owner. He seemed to think that if we obtained at least the same number of buyers it would be a go.

    I will update this thread again after I talk to them tomorrow.

    Hey, id be happy to help with this! I know a company that has organized a few other group buys here and they sell Hi-Jack Lifts, amongst other brands.

    Surely they wouldnt mind helping out since they've done it before with success.

    This sounds like a good one.

    *Also, noticed the previous one required a minimum purchase amount to receive discount. Surely we could coordinate this one without that requirement, but maybe see if they will offer incentives for purchasing more products so the discounts wouldnt be applied to just the lift?

    Well here's what i found out:

    42" All Cast - $68
    48" All Cast - $69
    60" All Cast - $70

    36" Cast/Steel - $60

    Buyer would pay actual fedex shipping costs determined at purchase depending on which warehouse it ships from and the delivery address. This would be anywhere from $10-$18 roughly.

    There'd be no minimum purchase and orders could be placed as they come in instead of waiting on a preset #. Additional discounts may be given; however, if users are wanting other accessories or items for their trucks, just would have to let them know what else you want.
