Illinois sucks!

Well, thanks to The Peoples Republic of Illinois I can no longer purchase pistol grip stocks, muzzle brakes, and 20+ round magazines and have them shipped to my house to rebuild/update surplus weapons which I've been doing as a hobby and to make a little extra cash for years. Now I have to drive across the border to Indiana and buy it retail for more $$$ from Cabelas. It's only 11 miles and I work in Indiana but it's the principal involved. Hell, Indiana thinks I'm responsible enough to give me a non-resident ccw permit but my own state wont let me buy parts for legally owned firearms.

Thank You Illinois for making thinks a little more difficult for a law abiding citizen. My next home purchase will be a little more east, I can guarantee you. Have a good weekend, Illinois, and don't forget to go f**k yourself.

 

Yeah,thank god Illinois sucks thats what keeps Indiana from falling into Ohio.

damn thats a shame! i hate to hear about these kinds of things. cuz come on thats not gonna stop the average johnny lawbreaker from still acquiring them illegally it just makes it so much harder for average people to obtain

From what I understand the rest of us in Illinois outside of the above named community are it's financial life support system. Glad I'm not from here with family ties that bind me to the place and will have no hard feelings when we move on. I will say that it is interesting to know that two consecutive Governors from this state may very well end up serving time in federal prison simultaneously. Guess people from Illinois gotta have bragging rights too.

 

At least we got one thing right Biggest deer around!! But gun laws do suck ass.

 

ehhh.... I dont know man. Indiana and ohio have some pretty damn big deer.

 

I was just trying to make a bad situation good.

 

Unless you are willing to move, get pissed and get involved. Too many of us gun owners piss and moan on forums like this, but don't step up where it matters.

I am not saying that you aren't doing your part, or that I do enough. I just wish we could all step up and affect a total change in our country. Chicago is one of the many cesspools that drive anti-gun legislation in America.
