i got a NIB 40 year old SxS shotgun for the holidays!!

    wow..my stepdad blew me away. he have me a beretta over and under before, and felt that i needed it's sibling!! he presented me with the sidebyside, still in the original ITALIAN box.. all the paperwork is there, and it is in italian...double triggers.

    i shoot the over and under mostly. actually, my goto gun is an italian over and under from texas..a Kleingunter..i now have 3 very valuable pieces.

    i am stoked!! my wife said i now need a gun safe.

    SXS = model 424
    O/U = silver pigeon

    he has a new browning citiori waiting for me..it also old and stored away.

    very, VERY nice. do NOT wait for outside motivation to get a safe though. i'm sure you'll hear a lot more on this from everyone and for good reason. if these are stolen you'll probably never get them back!

    i leave them in a good friend's safe. ex-DA investigator and cop. paranoid, armed to the gills. they are safe until i get a lock box.

    i have them specifically insured..and my wife's diamond ring.
