Foglights are for fog, not oncoming traffic!
Any defense handgun question on TW will get carpetbombed with RedBull-fueled 25yr olds hooting about Glock..Just like to one on COD!
Buy a single stack that you will actually want to carry and conceal.
If you see me, there's a Kahr PM9 in the picture somewhere.
SW Shield (not trash, like mentioned by the expert above) is a great choice.
Sig P938 is the coolest new CC 9mm I have seen.
If I didn't already have my Kahr, the Sig would be riding with me.
    And practice.
Try shooting your supercool G26 with your weak hand covered in sweat or blood with +P+ ammo and tell me how well it works.

but that goes for any gun. The first time I shot weak hand I thought I had gone half retard. Very weird feeling to say the least but its a good idea to practice with both hands

How many rounds do you have out of the holster from concealment with your PM9 and have you had your hands bloody while doing it? Do you practice that as well? Just curious.
The one thing the poster did say that was innacurrate is the range aspect. No one knows what range they'll have thier gun fight at. So it pays to be proficient out to at least 25 yards and have a pistol capable of it. I believe he meant the S&W Sigmas when he was talking of trash as well, which, they are.

I don't know the round count, but IDPA requires drawing from a concealed Holster and will require shooting weak-hand. Thankfully no bloody hands but sweaty, yes.
You'd have to have hands like an NFL lineman to shoot+P+ out of a reasonable CC handgun.
BTW, a buddy with a pretty substantial collection (pieces in the $10000 range) has two SW Sigmas he got cheap as trade bait and they are pretty much a Glock copy.

Springfield XD9 here!!! Comes with 2 10 round mags and 1 16 round mag with the grip extension sleeve which gives u the same size grip as the full size 9mm!! I have huge hands so I use the pinky extensions on the 10 round mags. I carry in a Crossbreed Super Tuck and forget its even there!!!! I also have the XD45 Compact that is a 4 in barrel and comes with both the 10 round mags and the 13 round mags with extension sleeves!! I can carry it in the crossbreed as well!!! Both guns are super accurate and easy to handle!!! I carry a Glock 21 at work and As good as I shoot the Glock, I shoot better with the XD's!!!

Dan Wesson 9mm ECO . I shot them and others. For a subcompact they will out shoot any other. I shot them up to 50 yards on a paper plate. They are not $ cheap $ look them up on the link here. I work in the Firearm industry for over 16 years. I get to shoot a lot. The sig P938 is nice gun all so.

    Just ordered a Ruger LC9: http://www.ruger.com/products/lc9/models.html

I had narrowed it down to the Kel Tec PF9, the Taurus PT709 slim, and the Ruger. Most of what I read and heard, everyone was split between the Taurus and the Ruger. What most pro-Taurus guys said was that the Ruger was more apt to jam. What finally swayed me though - was a friend who works at a target range. He said that after 200 rounds were ran through the Ruger, it started working like a charm - even better than the Taurus.

Funny aside: I called the gun shop where I buy all my stuff. And the guy says "You'll have to call your buddy if you want that gun." One of my friends had went in that morning and bought the only one they had in stock.

Yeah subscribed to thread. Been carrying my M&P 9c in a Kydex IWB, but still a lil fat for my scrawny ass.
Likely gonna pick up a CM9.

I carry a sig238 on a daily basis and love it, hardly notice it there. Sig just came out with the P938 which is really similar to the P238 only ever so slightly bigger only to accommodate larger 9mm over the .380. I plan on getting it some day as a companion. In pictures side by side you really can't tell the size or more importantly design difference. I love my p238 and would never get rid of it...

It's the easiest way, but you can sub without posting by using the "thread tools" pulldown.

Personally, I like my G26, but as mentioned, it is a double-stack so it takes a bit more care to conceal safely. OTOH, it's 10 rounds. If I'm going to limit myself to 7 in a single stack 9mm, I'd rather move to my .357 and pack a bit more punch.
For me, comfort is not an issue with the Crossbreed Supertuck.
