Just seeing if any of you guys have gotten a chance to play with one of theese yet. I think they have potential to be pretty sweet and was thinking about getting one when I can get my hands on it. Hopefully they run as well as they should. Possibly the ultimate carry piece.

I've read some reviews on 1911forum.com, and most seem to like to like them. I like the size and all, but I also like the new Ruger LC9 for half the money.

Looks good to me but I prefer full sized handguns.

Yea I prefer full size too but for a carry piece I'm not gonna pack around a govt model except for occasion. Things too damn heavy. As far as comparing it to the lc9 It should have a better trigger as well as a better overall feel, atleast that has been my experiences with several models from each. I just hope there aren't many hiccups, it being a first production run.

    No, I carry a 4" 1911. That's heavy enough.;)

I've fondled and shot both, the solo shoots a lot more accurate and does have a lot better trigger. I liked the feel of the LC9 better, fills my whole hand really nice! Really long trigger pull though......just my .02:cool:

Foglights are for fog, not oncoming traffic!
    Solo 9 looks cool.
I like the slide safety but wonder how far it sticks out?
I really don't see an advantage over the Kahr PM9 that I carry now.
I would buy the Kimber over a Ruger, for sure.
I would like to see an extended mag with a pinky grip...helps me anyway.
