    Some of the most far out anti gun laws are found on the left coast, but that could change for privileged politicians. A California state Senate committee will consider a bill next week that grants legislators permission to carry concealed firearms. The measure highlights the growing rift between the bureaucratic class and taxpayers who don't have the luxury of exempting themselves from bad laws.

    Sad that the government there thinks they are better than everyone else. A while back there was a thread in NC I belive in which a state legislator said she didn't like this same type of proposal. Since it made the government seem above the people. Wish there were more like that.

    Yep that sounds right. I was pretty close. I just don't understand why more don't stand up and do the right thing, and why it doesn't get more attention when they do. Most people just want a normal person not some tofu farting fairy, not some bible freak, and not a pot head hippie. Just a normal ass person trying to do right.
