The intent was to (1)sight the rifle in and (2)have some fun shooting. I accomplished (2). Who would've thought that turning the front post 1 revolution would only raise the bullet strike 1/2" :anonymous:

    when we started, 6-7"
    several adjustments later, 2-4"

after i got back home i looked for a m16 zeroing procedure and found that 1 quarter turn of the front sight post is 1/8" of bullet height change at 50 yards, so 1 full revolution is 1/2" change.
i know what to do now and I am going to use a sled next time to zero it

Yeah I was way off lol. Do you have much adjustment left in your sights. I'm interested since I just started my own franken build.

 thanks. wanted to go a different route. i was going to go TI-7 or ACS but i saw quite a few questionable reviews for the TI-7 and just wasn't crazy about the acs. liked the ubr and heard the f93/m93b was its predecessor

p.s. its your buffer and spring

I'd run a H buffer if it were mine. All of them should work but that's where I'd start.
