Just baught my 2011 hunting tags. Combination tag for bear, cougar, western WA muzzle loader elk, and rifle deer.

We have special permits apps for quality deer, buck, doe, and second deer.

And: quality elk, bull, and cow.

I went ahead and got special apps for goat, sheep, and moose too.

Each special app costs 6$ a piece. Total for all my tags was 140$

    What's everyone paying for tags?
What ya planning for hunt for/with?

    What state dlalien?

Surfinferno... I was referring to jamms post. For special application permits you have to get "drawn" or "selected" for the hunt. Only a certain amount of tags get handed out for some hunts.

Wolfdog, where in Western WA do you hunt for deer?

We also have property in NorCal just above Trinity Lake. We have 120 acres surrounded by 10000 acres of Southern Pacific (not sure who owns it now) land. It is all gated access, so there is almost ZERO hunting traffic up there.

OTC bear, deer, and elk, was $135.00, and I'm pretty sure I'll get a point for next year as I'm not sure I'll get all 3 I drew for.

.300 win mag for the elk.
30 30 for my deer / black bear.

Below is what I take hunting.

    back to bone stock.
    easy. all ARCHERY.

hoping and praying for NM elk draw. still have a few weeks to put in for IDAHO elk. debating with the wife.

then local stuff. i buy an AO tag (archery only) for deer which gives me access for 80% of the state, 1-2 hog pig tags, a bear tag, and upland game stamp for fall turkey.

again, all archery. 3 weeks until the NM elk draw results...

I'm an idiot when it comes to hunting but do you need tags for hogs??? The way the news makes it out is that hogs are running rampant across this country.. I'm suprised the gov't and state just don't say "have it" kill as many as you want.. You don't eat the hogs do you??? I hear they're disease riddend.. any truth to that?? just wondering..

Also make sure you post your hunting pics.. always good to see what you all get..
