I've shot this gun and love it, nothing bad to say about it at all.

Some early ones had a couple of issues. I have a SR9c that I love and it been great.

If you decide not to buy it please refer him to me. I'll have the $250 in his hands so fast his head will spin.

The SR9 is by far totally worth the 250. I just outfitted a private security firm with 175 of the SR9 pistols. The firm chose them after testing the SR9 against a few other pistols and it boiled down to functionality as well as cost. Overall they felt the pistol did very well (5K rounds of test firing with zero malfunctions) and couldn't justify the additional $200 or so to go with a Glock. They decided to spend the savings on ammo for training.

    This.

I am looking to pony up considerably more than that next month for an SR9c (unless I luck out in the meantime). I love the SR9. Easy to use, easy to clean, high marks for reliability. 250?! Jeebus, hope you bought it already.

The SR series are incredible pistols. I went from Sig P series handguns to Ruger SR series handguns as my home, target and EDC pistols. I'm a huge fan. Can't say enough good about them.
