Personal preference. I prefer the tanto blade w/serrations but that's me. I like that it gives me more options in a single blade like cutting a seat belt/rope more quickly and easier. Some prefer a curve for the ability to sharpen the entire edge easier. I just like how the angles and serrations gives me more options and I do use the various angles and options fairly frequently. I just posted the same knife with the tanto & serrated blade a few pages back:

Again, it's all personal preference and I really wouldn't say either blade is 'better' or 'worse' than the other. I was just giving you a hard time since yours has a different blade than mine.

    You'll be very happy regardless

    Still my favorite EDC knife

I have the drop point partial serrations with glass breaker

I still firmly believe this is one of, if not the best overall EDC knives ever...It has a great feel and balance, it's durable, assisted opening...I can go on and on about this knife...everyone who has bought one after recommendation thru this thread has been very pleased

Yeah, it's bad ass for sure. Like I've said time and again, I've got some stupid expensive knives but the first time I held a Kershaw Tanto Blur years ago I knew it would be my new go-to EDC and I haven't regretted the decision one day. I've been singing it's praises on firearm and similar forums ever since and have never heard anyone complain. The action is 2nd to none and the handle design is just awesome. It feels so 'right' in the hand and the textured part gives it a secure feel that doesn't feel like you're going to lose it of you get a lot of blood...I mean sweat... on it while you're cutting... stuff. :p

Ost, this is one of his newest lights at 980 lumen and 5.25 inches in length it uses 1 18650 tenergy battery, VERY BRIGHT for such a small package!!

I need to get one of his 4500 lumen lights next!! its a similar size in length to a 3 D cell maglite

It's 'bout time he makes something to compete w/the Fenix PD32 UE I love to much. I may have to see if santa will bring me one this year.

    Hey guys,

I'm trying to find a Blur with tanto tip and a glass breaker. I've found the drop tip Blur with glass break with ease. Does such a knife exist? If it does can you point me in the right direction please.
    Thanks

I haven't seen a Blur w/the Tanto blade and the glass breaker. They may make it but if they do I've never seen it. Not sure why not.

I picked up a Streamlight HL3 and thought that was bright. It does 1100 lumens, strobe mode, and low output mode (35 lumens). It's a belt carry item (comes with a pocket clip but that's pretty useless.).

    4500 lumens is crazy bright!

You mean that one? Yep I have it too!! Great light but the MC-G332 destroys it for brightness, it's just a slightly bigger package. The M6-3 is very comparable but a fraction of the Fenix cost. :)

First is the fenix PD32 UE

second is the MTE M6-3 and at $43.95 that's a big difference!!
