I searched, but didn't see a daily carry thread, forgive me if I missed it somehow, MODS you can delete this if that's the case

Let me start by saying this, I can honestly say I carry 90% of the time or better, every single day PERIOD

Does anyone else carry daily? Or at least 80% of the time or better?

I want to know (with pictures) of what you guys carry on a DAILY basis? Again DAILY! (If you have a concealed handgun licensee of course) I DON'T want to see what you carry sometimes, or wish you could carry, or when you have a jacket, or when its cold, or whatever; but what you DO carry daily!

I have to wear dress clothes to work every day (suit and tie) and really don't like carrying a full size pistol like my 1911. For me, initially after I got my carry license, I found it was too hard to conceal my 1911, and too bulky on my belt; in the car, in the office etc. I found myself leaving it at home some days because I didn't want to wear it...excuses, excuses; yes I know.

So...I now carry a Ruger .380 LCP w/ the Crimson Trace Laser, usually in my Crossbreed inside-the-waistband holster. I also carry a spare mag in my pocket. Its very light, comfortable and easy to access, and best of all...I have it! All the time!!

So anyways lets see, what you carry EVERY DAY! I know some people can, and do carry a full size pistol every day, and I commend you for that. So, lets see you carry weapon, whatever it is! And if you carry other stuff, like flashlights and emergency bracelets and other crap (I dont) you can post that too I guess.

    My daily carry:

    If I'm working I've got a Glock 22 with 2 spare mags

If I'm wearing jeans and a decent shirt, my Kimber Tactical Ultra II

Shorts and a tshirt it's my bodyguard .380

SOMETIMES i'll carry my Glock 27 and occasionally I'll wear my Charter Arms .357 Mag Pug

What I carry is decided by what I'm wearing and what I'm doing

I have a variety of holsters for each one

a pocket knife for now. lol. but can’t wait to get my CWP! about a year and half to go. and i don’t know what to get to cary yet. i know will have a GLOCK 22. or a pretty new GLCOK idk model number but it will shoot the 357 sig round. dad gets to keep the gun he retires with. right now they are carrying the 22. but are suppose to get the 357 GLOCKS SOON and he has about 14 months to go be fore he has to retires. so he should have it by than. and we may buy back the Glock 22. so most likely (depending on how well i can hid it) i will carry one of them.

I've carried a XD45 or 1911 for years. I carry almost all of my waking hours. I'm looking for a new carry piece; maybe a XDm9 3.8 or a Taurus light weight revolver.

yeah. i hear u. but if we buy the 22 back it will stay in my room in a box for home safety. (mom and dad are at the far other end of the house. and the one he is carrying the day he retires is free. i thought about the 23 or the 27. i also kinda have a small framed body. but i could hid the 22 pretty easy in the winter.

I dont have a ccw but i'm wondering... Why do you all carry? I heard that in order to get your license you have to have a "valid reason" that you would be threatened. What are your reasons?

Your "valid reason" thing is a CA legalese thing IIRC. I had to pay the fee, sign the paperwork, and get fingerprints done-Got my license without having to explain myself to anyone.
And I carry cause I don't ever want to be in a position where I have to say "I wish I could have changed the outcome..."

Really? Does Cali make you have a "valid reason"?

How about, "I want to protect myself, my family and my property from harm" Is that a valid reason??

EDIT: Isn't that the obvious reason for getting a CCW?
