Holographic sights are worthless if you don't know how to work the weapon system right spend time with iron sights. 1st spend money on extra ammo and shoot as frequently as you can. 2nd a good sling. 3rd a weapons light. Lastly optics. Remember the magazine well can double as a vertical forearm grip.

Not an expert or pro shooter just a Jarhead of 8 years and a Deputy of 7 that holds Operator Certification.

    1- Gun
2- Magazines (10 minimum) Pmags are great or GI aluminum.
3- Ammoe. Lots of it. Buy in 500 and 1000 round bulk at a gunshow or the Net.
4- Optic. EOtech or Aimpoint with backup iron sights. EOtech sale: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/guns-hunting/171177-deal-eotech-512-a.html
5- Carry case. Lots of tacticool cases available. If you need something more discrete go to Guitar Center and buy a guitar hard or soft case.
    6- Sling. 1, 2 or 3 point. pick one.
7- light, laser, chainsaw, vertical grip, can opener etc.
8- Another Gun and repeat 2 to 7.

    Why....
    - Mags before ammo because you can't use the gun or ammo without them.
    - Optic/BIS and case before sling because you can still use the iron sights with the optic and 99% of people carry the gun from the car to the range table in a case - not slung at the ready in the Sandbox.
Light/Laser last because how often do you shoot at night.

While some will say a quadrail, red dot scope, or a forward pistol grip. I am going out on a limb with a skilled operator because no amount of high tech toys will replace a skilled operator.:crapstorm:

Mags and ammo, this is all you need to add. If you have quality sling and sights, these are the only thing you need

if you dont already have something, get a few things to clean it. i totally agree with buying mags and bulk ammo first. get lots of rang time and develope a well understanding of the firearm. all that other stuff will come later. you will more or less know what accessories you want, to go with your style of shooting.

If you are just adding stuff to your gun for the sake of adding stuff to your gun, you are doing it wrong :gossip:
