Give me a break. He's not hurting anyone, nor was it meant as an insult. Try not to be so sensitive. Not everyone is out to get you and not everyone is racist.

nope it wasn't his problem it was all mine. I was inquisitive about his meaning and he made the decision to abide by rules. Much props to him

i'm sure he understands the tone he took and I'm quite satisfied about how he has handled himself now and how he chose to change subjects

had a neat experience today - me and a friend went out around 8 oclock a.m. to hunt over a soybean field. we parked his white chevy 1500 on the edge of the field, loaded the guns, turned on the ipod, set on the tailgate and began to talk. what dove hunting is really all about huh? after about 30 minutes we saw what looked like a deer some 50 yds from us in the middle of the field. sure enough, it was a fawn scarred shitless of us. it was probably bedded down when we pulled up and then didn't know what to do once it woke up. . . yet it began to walked towards us (we realized we were blocking it's preferred path later on). it was just really odd, seeing this deer trying to figure out if it would be able sneak right past us. i had my ipod touch out and i filmed it when it got around 15 yrds from us. ive just never seen a deer walk towards people in broad daylight, sitting on big white truck, music playing, plain as day. nothing epic but i thought it was unique and interesting.

Picked up 14 on opening day with 2 doubles (one true)... Not bad! To me, there's nothing like opening day of Dove Season.

Found a pic of our 2010 opening day... I believe this was about 73 birds among 5-6 shooters.

    back to bone stock.
gonna take a pass this season on doves.

sucks, i have a new O/U and side by side..fraternal twin benellis to try too.

too much going on, with my maiden voyage to idaho for elk bowhunting.

doves meat is pretty decent treated like a chicken nugget. separate the breast into two boneless nuggets..soak it in buttermilk with your limit of hotsauce shaken in..i go crazy with tapatio or the vietnamese rooster stuff..saracha..

overnight..next day, salt/pepper, dip in flour. pan fry them.

i have also grounded it and made some super ragu sauce for pasta.

aah bummer dude! . . i will probably go saturday and maybe next weekend.

and sucks you won't be out there with those awesome shotguns. my dove hunting gun is just my cheapo 12 gauge, but for some reason i just do great with it.

and that sounds like a good recipe you got. we take ours after we clean them and soak them in italian dressing for about a day, wrap them in bacon and grill them. saute some bbq sauce in pot and dip them in there and knock em out in one bite. . . NOMS!!!!
