Just got my umarex h&k mp5 .22 out of jail, can't wait to go shoot it! Got a question though.. The book that came with it said to only shoot .22 LR HV out of it, BUT I have a ton of Aguila .22 SSS laying around...think i'll have any issues shooting this ammo? To me it seems the only issue I might have is accuracy..but then again im no pro :notsure:

    anywho, some pics

Yeah, I plan on getting good stuff. This aguila crap was given to me so I figured I'd shoot it, as long as it will safely exit the end of the weapon. Not too worried about keyholing.

    Yeah

They recomend the hv stuff for the extra pressure, just so everything cycles like it should, especially it being supressed, right? I'd try the sss or anything else in mind, see what it likes.

It's not actually supressed. Kali requires a 16" barrel.. it's fake shit to make it legal.

ahhh it makes sense. Since it is a blowback system, the lower FPS might not cycle it correctly...

what the hell, I'll see if it works :)

I checked out the S&W at big5, didn't really care for it. Felt too much like a toy gun. I checked out the mp5 model you pictured also... Didn't like the foregrip =/

    oil change...
the only problem you might have with the aguilla is that it might not cycle in your gun. if it will cycle through then it should be fine, other than it smelling like butthole.

grab a box of the remington golden bullet. $17 for 550 rounds!

That gun reminds me of my pre runner. No matter how you look at it.....it's still just a .22

    extra ear plugs for nose...check!

I never would have pictured myself buying a 22, but ammo for my other guns = getting expensive. It'll be nice to plink all day long if I want and not worry about breaking the bank. Not only that, but this will be a good gun for my soon-to-arrive son to shoot when the time comes! [IMG]

After shooting the real MP5, single shot and full auto............ nothing else matters. I was smiling and giddy like a school girl for a month. Accurate as hell too.......... didnt miss the target and emptied the magazine on full auto right into the target.

This gun is a blast! I shot roughly 600 rounds of winchester xpert HV through it with not 1 single issue. I forgot to pack to Aguila, unfortunately. I'll have to go again soon!

Got a chance to fire some of this aguila yesterday....it stinks, jams, smokes, and gunked shit up. I cycled the first mag and decided to get rid of the rest of the 5xx rounds.

I also got a chance to fire my more recent new toy. new ar15. that was a blast =)
