kailifornia is trying to become the most hostile place for constitutional liberty, especially gun rights... hopefully w/ the mcdonald case at our backs, SAF and NRA will sue kalifornia for denial of RTKBA, via 14th amendment incorporation of the 2nd amendment... i believe this is in the works... they would probably have to either repeal the ban on open carry, or go to a shall issue concealed carry (they currently have "mother may i" issue, ..that some counties refuse to issue )

guess what, if we allow it to happen in california, then it becomes "precedent" and other states will follow suit. your attitude should not be "thank God i live in xyz", but you should be very vocal with your local politicians that if they ever support something like this in your jurisdiction, you will do everything within your power to vote them out of office. we are all in this together.

that and you should be making a regular contribution to the nra.

This is the sad part. For some strange reason the rest of the country thinks they should follow CA. First they should look at all the problems CA. has. Mainly, over taxed (we all are) and under righted.
