    I figure it's somewhere around 30 minutes from Moncks Corner but I could be wrong as I haven't driven there and haven't been there in 4 years or so. I got out of hunting for a while once school actually became a priority for me.
    One day I'll live on Jame's Island but for now I'm about 2 hours away which isn't bad but it's still a tank of gas round trip, more if I take 26 than 64 and attempt to keep up with traffic.

    Yea around junior year all that stuff my dad had been saying about how important school was finally started taking root. Probably a little too late but it's working out so far.

    lol funny how when you don't plan on slaying some deer they always seem to attract to you like a magnet but when you're in the stand you never see any. Funny story about deer stands, one of my friends cousin whom is about 10 and has lived in Las Vegas her whole life was walking through the woods with us and we walked by a wooden stand walks up to it and say's "Cool you have a tree house!" We were just like, yea... a tree house. I have so much to teach her about life growing up in LV just ain't no way to grow up. She also hate's sweet tea with a passion, I feel so bad for her sometimes.

    Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    i've seen some descent stuff shot there, but i can never get anything close enough. you can only shoot a bow, shotty, or black powder.

    i didnt go for a while, then went right off 95 around summerton w/ some guys and killed a 7 point my first night out. only one i've killed so far. i let others walk after the 7 point. should have taken them all down b/c that meat went fast.

    Haha nice! I worked at a deer processing ad skinnin place last deer season. And people woul actually bring in deer that have been hit by cars... They would even tell you and then you notice no bullet hole and then you get inside and everything is busted up

    I don't know bout the rest of y'all but deer season for us low country guys started Wednesday. I just got back from Georgia today at 4 and I'm in the stand now. Anyone see or kill anything nice yet?

    And jhodge if you wanna change to thread title to deer huntin BS thread that would be cool. I haven't searched to see if there is one. We can talk about different methods like, rattling, grunting, still hunting or dog drives. I'd like to start postin pictures of deer I kill this year. And if people wanna post there's here too that would be awesome. And just got a text from my dad sayin that his climber was stolen that he put up 3 weeks ago. And that his sitting on the ground. Gosh that pisses me off

    Yeah it sucks. Last deer season I worked at a processor and Wednesday my old boss sent me a picture of about 10 deer on the ground
