It was enough but not as many as years past. Most during gun season and more towards the end of that as well.

Yea, there wasn't any food, and the rut didn't really start until mid-late December. It was a weird season.

It really was! I saw more on the side of the road dead than i did in the woods alive.

Deer season starts Friday here. Good thing is with my new job I get off in time everyday to hunt. Bad news is I lost 1100 acres of land to hunt. I've still got 210 acres that my grandparents have, but other than that I'll be hunting WMA's. I hunted a few places by boat last year that had a lot deer

I've gotten a few tags already. I have two WY antelope tags, a WY cow elk tag and two SD deer tags. Going to be a busy fall. My elk tag runs from October 15th to January 31st! There should be some left over deer tags for SD available soon.

Saw this guy and his buddy the other day. Made me excited for the season to start. (If you zoom in, you can see his horns....took the pic through Binculars)

It's October and I haven't even seen a buck this year. Neither has my dad. He'd already killed 3 bucks by this time last year. Losing 1100 acres really sucks

For those of you who bow hunt, what broad heads do you use?

I haven't now hunted ever but am now rentjng a 3 acre property in city limits that I am allowed to bow hunt on, so I figured it's time to start.

I do have a good bow and all, just not the broad heads

Oh and, this is a camera being out one night on the property, I've got apple trees by the way which might help some lol
