You're already halfway there with the TacSol barrel, man. $600 will get you the best 22 LR suppressors out there, including the $200 federal tax. Just do it - you won't be sorry! I recommend a 22 LR can for everyone's first.

Just ordered an AAC Ti-Rant - so jazzed. Let's see...3 months for the paperwork to clear, 2 weeks to ship to my FFL a week for me to get CLEO signoff and 6 months for the ATF to get to it...yeah. See you in a year.

I've got 2 cans in my possession now, and just submitted paperwork for #3. Number 3 will be a integrally suppressed 16.25" .300 blackout. Really looking forward to that! My first can was an SWR spectre for my browning buckmark with tacsol barrel. My second can is an Armtac Rendition .30 cal suppressor. I use it on my .308, .223, and .270 rifles. Armtac is a new company, of which I am good friends with the owner/builder as he is local to me here in AR. www.thearmouryguns.com is his site.

Here are just a couple pics I have on my work pc. Will post more when I get home. These are not the most current pics of the suppressor mount system or my guns. I've since changed all the furniture on my ar15 and sold the dpms .308 AR and bought an LWRC REPR .308.

Ouch.....It is pretty bad ass though.

If I do get an AR, I would just go with iron sights.

I may leverage my converted Saiga into a 45 ACP host for my pending TiRant if things go how I think they're gonna. Anyone have an extra FNP45 or HK45? or maybe XDM45?

Just became a new owner of two class 3's. Got an E-mail stating the last tax stamp had arrived and I could pick them both up this Thursday.:D

I bought an RPG T1000Ti suppressor and I registered my Noveske lower and had Chuck build an 10.5 5.56 upper. I'm still waiting for Grim Reaper Tactical 8" 300 Black Out barrel.:(

This is the link to the can and the only pic I have to use, sorry.

^ When did you submit your paperwork? I'm anxiously awaiting the approval of a MAC10 and suppressor. The wait times have gotten ridiculous.

Bah, thats not even a good pic, but thanks.

I hate to think how much I have into it - but if you can look on the bright side of the NFA wait, it took me nearly a year to complete it, so I slowly pieced it together.

You can probably substitute a few parts for cheaper (and not necessarily inferior) alternatives and arrive somewhere around $2-2.5k. Well....at least before all the craziness.

Definitely grab a lower and start the Form 1 for the SBR as soon as you can.

Yeah shes a beauty! Im a bit torn between an AR and M1A. I know I would never get to the range as much as I would like, so dropping $2k isnt really justified. If I were a single man, different story.

That's a good question. I sent an E-mail yesterday asking if they had came in and I got the reply back stating yes they had came in and that he couldn't locate my phone number or E-mail to notify me.

I sent the suppressor paperwork off march 12 and 30 days later, I sent the paperwork off for the SBR. He told me that I should be patient because of current wait times which is around six months. I guess that got extended by 2 to 2.5 months. I don't have an exact time of arrival, but I'll post up this Thursday when I go pick them up. I don't want to bother him through the Christmas Holidays.

I'd like to have a MAC 10 with a Lage upper, sadly, other priorities got in the way.

That is strange your stuff is taking so long you should give the ATF office a call (1-304-616-4500) if you have the serial number of the item being transferred they should be able to give you the status. For my MAC 10 I submitted the paperwork in June they cashed the check 6/24 and on 12/3 it went to an examiner, from thereI’m told it will take no longer than a month to be reviewed for approval. For the three other NFA items I own it’snever taken this long.

I have my Lage upper ready to go :)

Both tax stamps, my guess, had arrived at my dealers probably 1.5 to 2 months ago. My dealer couldn't locate my E-mail or my phone number to notify me. I sent him an E-mail yesterday wanting to know why it was taking so long, would've inquired sooner had I known he didn't have a way to contact me. Anyhow, it's done with and I'm not upset. I've waited this long what's a few more days. Really wished I hadn't drug my feet on ordering an adapter because I have no barrel with a 5/8x24 thread.

Your MAC's gonna look great with the Lage upper, I am super jealous. Someone locally to me has a Lage upper and Lage stock along with a Magpul vertical foregrip. I wanted one badly after seeing his, but other priorities came up. Mac10 is .45 right? Even with the Lage slow fire upper, that thing was insanely fast.

I'm pretty excited for it. The MAC 10 was made in a 9MM and .45ACP, I'm getting the 9MM. The standard MAC 10 will shoot about 1,100 RPM with the Lage MAX 10 with the heavy bolt it will slow it down to a more "practical" 600 RPM. ;)

Here is a pic of the MAC 10 I'm getting.

Well, it's finally done. I picked up the suppressor last night.

.22 suppressors are the gateway drug to NFA items. Advice I wish I had been given before I had accumulated several NFA items is to setup a NFA trust before you buy any NFA items. Good luck .22 suppressors are awesome.

I still haven't quite figured out the trust, what exactly is it?
