Kahr cw9

Anyone have one? How do you like it?

I'm debating between the cw9 or a g26, or maybe a ruger lc9(don't like the false reset on te trigger tho.)

 

The Kahr is a far superior gun to the LC9. I got rid of my LC9 for a Kahr. I went for the p40. The trigger is butter smooth on the Kahrs. I think for a CCW pistol the width of Single Stack Kahr is a nice. I cant say much for the Glock but the Kahr is a much smaller pistol.

 

Alright. Well I'm leaning more on kahr, the flock feels funky with how short the grip is and how wide it is. Not very comfortable to hold. The kahr is a bit cheaper too. I'll go with the kahr then.

 

Yeah .. good choice. I went with the P instead of the PM because i like a little extra grip and the grip extensions for kahrs are a little weird. for me I think the big advantage of the Kahr is the width. Though the PM series is pretty damn pocketable.

 

I voted Kahr with my dollars.
I have the PM9 and it feels a little short in the grip without the pinky ext magazine.
It is surprisingly easy to shoot for such a small, light pistol.
Single stack is where it's at!

 

I've owned the CW9, my buddy owns a K9 elite, and my other buddy has a CM9. I absolutely loved my CW9, it shot well, was comfortable in my hand, concealed well, and was comfortable to carry. That and it was also dirt cheap. I ended up giving it to my girlfriend for her to carry with and now just use my G27 as my carry pistol, but I'm looking for a CW40 to replace my CW9.

I don't care for Ruger or their build quality, and my glock is a great pistol, but is kind of a brick and not the most comfortable pistol to carry.

 

I carry a K40, an excellent CCW for those who don't feel the need for high magazine capacity.

Those who have one, how's the reliability? How many rounds have you shot through it?

 

I bought my PM9 used, no idea but it was 99% condition.
I've shot maybe 500rds...it's not a range gun.
Reliability is 100%...HOWEVER...
The manual explicitly states to load you lock back the slide, seat the loaded magazine, then slingshot the slide to load a round.
What I learned is seating a loaded mag against the closed slide the racking the slide does not get good results.
Follow directions=all good.
Much more controllable and comfortable that a Ruger LCP.

 

Well, my thing is I try to shoot 150-200 rounds a month through every gun I own. To make sure I'm proficient with it.
