Ruger all day baby. I actually own the LCR, and I love it! I've fired the LCP, just don't own one.....yet. But I would look into the LCR too. I've never owned a Taurus, but I have heard complaints.

You just can't go wrong with Ruger. They are quality. Good luck with your purchase.

Have fun w the jams. Mine hasnt come out of my safe in forever. I only keep it cause my son likes to shoot it. Worthless gun in my experience. Jams every magazine. And mine was supposedly after they fixed the issues on the early ones.

I replaced my LCP with a Glock 42

slightly larger, but still small enough to hide where I need it to hide, and light enough to wear with athletic shorts

I actually quite enjoy shooting the 42...it's very comfy and easy to shoot...and again...light weight so easy to carry in athletic shorts

I'll be buying the single stack 9 when/if Glock releases it

hahah hell, it could be! but it happens to everyone that shoots it... i just gave up on it. I never send guns back to get fixed.. if they dont work.. i throw em in the safe and forget about them.. I got it due to the many good reviews and I wanted a small light pocket pistol.. but seems they are really hit or miss.

I have A LOT of guns. Of ALL of them the LCP is the ONLY one to NEVER have any sort of misfire. Not during break in. Not using odd ammo. Not using hot ammo.

I added the Crimson Trace laser and it's perfect for it's intended purpose. I also added the Kel-tec pen clip. It can be slightly modified to fit the Ruger. It's so light I can clip it on my boxers and it won't pull them down.

I'd get a pocket holster and a Crossbreed or similar holster as well. I used the Crossbreed holster today with sweatpants and no belt.

I got the Taurus and have had no issues. Maybe 500-600 rounds through it.
