If you carry a glock 27 (or 26), what kind of holster do you use with it? I've been looking at some IWB holsters but can't make my mind up. Anyone have any good holsters they want to share some info on?

I carry a g27 or a g23 so does my wife. I use a crossbreed supertuck or a galco royal guard depending on what I'm wearing. The super tuck is comfortable the galco is just really easy not as comfy tho. Both conceal well.

I don't carry a Glock 27, but I do carry the Springfield equivilent- XD40SC. I use a Comp-Tac Minotaur IWB and it is very comfortable.

Www.clipdraw.com for my Glock 26. No need to tell me how unsafe it might be, I dont keep one in the chamber.

Thanks for all the responses. I've looked at the crossbreeds before and they do look like they would be very comfortable and conceal good.

I carry my 19 OWB in a Galco Mini Slide, but that's because I'm a bigger guy and go untucked all the time anyway. A 19 carries the same as a 26 or 27 - it's the thckness that matters most.

Has anyone used the Galco King Tuk? I guess it's suppose to be a knock off of the crossbreed. Looks pretty good to me and it's a little cheaper.

Basically the same thing. I had a Crossbreed for a while, and while they're comfortable, it is still a lot of leather against the skin and didn't feel right ot me. They're just...bulky. The leather backing was the size of a small dinner plate. They do conceal well though.

I alternate the 27 and. S&W J frames in ankle holsters. My holsters are G and G and have the calf strap for the extra weight.

Ok thanks. I think I might have to try that one out some day. I don't have a lot of money right now so I cant go buy every holster there is to try out so I was just wanting to get a feel of what other people on here use.

I use Bianchi "clip on" IWB holsters for my 23, 27, and my S&W airweight. I like them the best.

That's like carry around a semi more dangerous rock in your pants. Whats the point of carrying if you can't use it when you actually need it?

I recommend the crossbreed/galco supertuck/king tuk holsters. They distribute the weight nicely.

I know this is off topic but anyone have problems concealing the 26 under just a t shirt? I'm looking into getting a smaller gun that my 1911 and the two I'm considering are the 26 and kahr pm9.

Go with a kahr cw9. They are 200 cheaper, but don't have dovetail front sights.

I was thinking the pm or cm because of the shorter grip so pocket carry might be an option.

I use a Pro Carry LT from the Holster Store for my Glock 27. Nice holster for $21.00. The leather on the inside is nice and soft, and easy on the finish. I liked the crossbreed, but I wanted a holster that was easy to take in and out. The clip holds good on a belt and once the holster is broken in, it conforms to the pistol very nicely. No way it is going to fall out accidentally. I carry IWB and this holster works well, it's comfortable and conceals good.

Depending on your build, the Crossbreed does a fair job concealing the 26 in a tucked-in t-shirt from MOST angles. Untucked, it does a decent job.

That said, it depends on your build. If you're thin, it's going to be a tough call... and of course, any single stack subcompact is going to conceal better than any Glock.
