Anyone here shot the new Springfield XDS yet? Really thinking about picking it up for a conceal gun. Just looking for some reviews.

A co-worker let me run a full mag through his last month. Based on the six rounds I shot, I loved it. A little jumpy, but expected from a stubby .45. Trigger was awesome, close to a Glock but maybe a little less travel. Fit and finish were great. I'm undecided between the XDS and a higher capacity XDm 3.8 inch. Dimensions are close, and I like a higher capacity.

My buddy carries the xdm nine, the extra rounds are nice but the size and power are real nice in the xds. I think it felt way better then my glock 23

Nice. I don't think I've heard a single bad thing about it.

The 45 is a little hard to carry under my shirt..But the sweetest hardest hitting weapon since my old Colt 45 in the military .

I just bought mine last week and put my first rounds through it today. I am impressed at this little gun. For a small. 45 it kicks but not as bad as I thought it would. I've shot harder kicking 45s that were bigger. Definitely will be getting the 7 round extended magazines to make the grip a little longer. Love this gun and may get it in a 9mm when it comes out. That or the Kimber solo.

This .45 shoots amazing. For such a small frame you would basically think that it would be a hand cannon, but it is not. It is extremely manageable for being as small as it is. I give credit to the engineers that built this gun. I have shot many compact .45's but never one as slim and controllable as this one is. I carry a Kimber Ultra Carry II right now as my CCW weapon just as soon as my XDS arrives the Kimber will be retired to the safe!!

Just my .02. This is not a gun to disappoint!
