BUIS Sights

Alright it appears quite a few of you guys are shooting variations of the M16. Those of you who are using BUIS setups, what brand are you using and why do you prefer this over the others?

I am looking to purchase the Troy sights and want some opinions before I fire off on this one.

Are you looking for fixed or flip-up BUIS?

I use A.R.M.S. #40-L flip-up b/c they make good stuff and b/c it's very low-profile which allows me to switch-out different optics options w/o having to remove the rear sight.

Whatever you get, I'd make sure it has both windage and elevation adjustment so you don't have to muck with the front sight pin.

Edit: sorry, I didn't see your links at the bottom. Troy makes good shit. Yeah, that's plenty good, but I don't think that rear sight has elevation adjustment. Which is cool, but you'll need a front sight tool if you need to make any elevation adjustments. I dig their HK style front flip-up, though.

 

Definitely a flip-up. I was planning on using it in conjunction with a EOTech 551.

If the batteries go out, or the sight fails (i know the chances are next to none BUT..) there will still be the good ole irons there.

Try the amost circular HK style sights.

I acquire the sight picture fastest with these rather than the traditional AR peep and post.
