I believe the finish choice is either Teflon moly kote or similar I think and matte blue. Me Garthwaite is doing the finishing because of time constraints, we are doing all the fitting and building work in the class. I am pretty sure in gonna go with blued though

He is going to have it after the class for finishing and I am considering having him put a high power cut on the slide like the Wilson combat pinnacle.

Oh, and I got I look at a gun with the same sight set up. I like it a lot so far, shooting it will tell for certain though

Another question for the CA gun guys: Can I build an AR pistol using a stripped lower if I have the lower DROSd as a pistol using a mag well block so I can do an SSE?

Flew Delta for the first time checking a pistol. It went very smooth, except the first baggage check employee who I talked to was definitely uncomfortable. She basically handed me off to a guy at the next counter. They never asked me to show it unloaded, only to declare it was unloaded on the form. I guess they can xray it and see that it's unloaded. I used double locks on the case and also another cable-style pistol lock to secure the pistol case to my duffle. No worries or delays coming or going. Props to Delta for having a good system I guess. I've heard horror stories from other flyers, but it was smooth sailing for me.

Probably the last thing the airlines (and airport security) want is for people to start popping open carrying cases and racking slides while they're standing in line at the baggage check, haha!

Nope, I will be receiving a Sig P226 with the threaded barrel in the next few months though.

Does anyone here know what can be abbreviated on my SBR engraving (trust information)? Or more specifically, can Mississippi be abbreviated to Ms?
I have a call into my lawyer but he may not get back to me until tomorrow evening and I was hoping to get everything done tonight to ship my lowers to the engraver tomorrow.

^ This. I have a P220 in .45 and it's my favorite gun for just about everything. You will need to be comfortable wit hthe de-cocker and the trigger pull for it to work for you though. If thats something you like then they are great guns and super reliable out of the box

Accept the two letter state abbreviation for Missouri is MS. The abbreviation Ms does not.

You are correct, my lawyer called me back yesterday and told me that it is acceptable but he would try to fit all of Mississippi on the lower just to CYA.

    *Except (sorry, I had to)
Ms is Mississippi, Mo is Missouri.
    Yes
